I've always being found of strategy games. Alpha Centauri and Civilization III played an important role in the way I played with computers over the years. What came after Alpha Centauri I ended ignoring, including the Sid Meier's 4th Civ edition, which soundtrack earned the first Grammy for videogame music ever.
Find below a video of the song that got the Grammy, Baba Yetu, with scenes from the game. I will write about the game soon.
Oh, the lyrics are about a version of "Our Father", considering the discussions I found on the web.

Steam wants you dead several times: Dark Souls Prepare to Die edition with 33% discount
Steam offers until the end of 11/11 a reasonable discount in Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition with a buddy pricing of nearly R$ 47 / US$ 27. Is it a good thing? Never played it, but I was searching for information for which you're scratching your finger over the mouse, considering whether it is worth it.
This is the latest version of the game that mixes RPG / action on a very dark fantasy setting. RPG / action is the following, very short: the fact that the villain has raised a sword does not mean that he has already been set will hit you. If you're smart to dodge, you escape. Thus, agility also counts a lot.
It is a conversion of the Xbox 360 title, pulling up good and copying limitations - as the maximum resolution. Fortunately, some modders - the netizens who unofficially change the game - have found ways to increase the resolution.
Note 1: PC Gamer noted this is a game for those who like videogames and not so much PC usual titles because of the interface, just like the Xbox360. However, the author of the review was very clear in saying that the title establishes the horror on the player. This is good!
Note 2: the same magazine recommends having a control Xbox 360 to play on PC
Moving on with the story, you are an undead who fights demons of all kinds - giants in general - to bring light back to the world, and if you have enough time, to recover your own soul. The "Prepare to Die" on the title is no joke at all. I checked some videos and it is common to wield the sword, leap one side to another and be dispatched six feet under for the millionth time, regardless of being well done, rare, medium or crisp.
A general analysis of the reviewers, based on Metacritic, which condenses all reviews published, is excellent, with a score of 85/100. Users, on the other hand, defined a 6.7 / 10 within the Metacritic.
Are you up for the challenge? Apparently, a good deal of patience to coupe with frustration is needed when you buy the game, as shown in the video below, a very nice analysis by a Brazilian player.
